Dear Parents and community members:
This letter is to let you know that you may access the most current district/ state report card
online at the following website: https://ksreportcard.ksde.org
Our district and school code is as follows: D0403 - Otis-Bison Elementary
The Kansas State Department of Education is required to provide this information to
districts and the public. The report provides information concerning student performance
on the Kansas Assessment Program (KAP), in addition to other various data including, but
not limited to, student enrollment, class size average, and financial expenditures.
The information contained in the School Report Card is required by federal law. Some data
may be omitted if it does not pertain to the specific grades in a particular building or, in our
case, enrollment is too small and would risk potentially identifying specific students if it
were to be reported.
Federal law requires that the School Report Card display information about the state, the
district, and the school. Where possible, the information must be reported by race/ ethnicity
and socioeconomic status of the students and must include at least two years of results.
