On March 2nd, students in the first grade were celebrating Read Across America Day. Read Across America Day also coincides with Dr. Seuss's Birthday. Students got to invite a special guest to read with them for the afternoon. The guests ranged from grandparents, parents, cousins, siblings, and close friends. They read Dr. Seuss books, did a Cat in the Hat art project, and read books on their Ipads. The first grade students appreciate their special guests for taking time to read with them on their special day!
