First grade students at Otis-Bison Elementary were visited by Pam Martin from the Kansas Wetlands Educational Center on Friday, September 21st. She showed the students the different stages of a butterfly. She had examples of a live egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly. Students were able to tag a class butterfly and were able to release it. We await to see how far our butterfly will migrate.
