State Track was held last weekend. It was a very hot weekend, but the athletes worked through it and still did a great job.
Blake Bahr took 3rd in the 100. His time was 11.37, just 00.31 seconds slower than 1st Place. The fastest Finals time amongst all the 1A-6A school boys was 10.59.
Girls (Maddie Wiltse, Sheridan Ewy, Carly Welsh & Cristen Trapp) 4x800 15th at 11:23.47. 1st Place was 10:16.52. Fastest finals across 1A-6A was 9:19.60R.
Cristen Trapp 13th in Triple Jump with 32-03.50. 1st was 35-09.00. Amongst 1A-6A 39-11.50R was the furthest.
Boys (Jacob Olivares, Jayce Kohls, Maitland Wiltse, Blake Bahr) 4x100 Meter Relay took 8th with a time of 46.65. 1st Place was 44.75. Another pretty close match. Fastest amongst 1A-6A was 41.62.
Luke Higgason took 7th with 140-03 in Discus. 1st Place was 175-06. Across 1A-6A the furthest was 192-11 in Finals.
