Volleyball 1A DII State Championship and 1A State Cross Country Results

The last few weeks have been quite busy for our Cougars.
The girls volleyball team went to Emporia to play at State Volleyball on November 1st.
Everyone was so happy to make state and we were really happy to see so many students and families come to support the team.
The girls fell during pool play to Lebo and Ingalls but were able to defeat Victoria for the last game of the day. Not making it to the next day was tough, but everyone still had a great time and was glad to have made it where they did.
That wasn't the end of State excitement that week. Destiny then had State Cross Country on Saturday. It was quite rainy, wet, and muddy. Destiny finished the race with a time of 23:12.85.
