K-6 students enjoyed a visit from guest author and illustrator Nancy Carlson this morning. She talked about how her imagination and life experiences go into creating a book. She also had the 4th-6th graders draw some of her characters in a hands on lesson. Nancy has published over 60 books for children and resides in Minnesota.
