Today was the beginning of this year's Jump Rope for Heart. Jennifer Thompson, from the American Heart Association, came to the Otis-Bison Elementary to get the kids pumped up and to learn how the heart works, how exercise can be fun and how raising money can save lives.
A group of student volunteers also helped to demonstrate how the funds raised by students are used by the organization. [Students demonstrate video]
Otis-Bison Elementary hopes to raise over $3000 this year.
