On Monday, January 14, the Otis-Bison Student Council hosted an all–high school STEM project. Students were challenged to design and build Candy Land–themed structures for use on a life-sized Candy Land board. The high school students were divided into six equal groups and given one hour to plan and construct their buildings from start to finish. After the building portion was complete, students participating in Cougar Buddies picked up their grade school buddies and brought them to the high school. Together, they rotated through six activity stations with their groups. These stations included musical dots, cookie decorating, arts and crafts, dancing, gumdrop tag, and playing the life-sized Candy Land game. Junior High Student Council members, along with staff, dressed as Candy Land characters and handed out candy as students enjoyed the game.
